Make-Ahead Roast Beef Sliders
Serves ~12
Ingredients
1 pound thin deli roast beef
12 Hawaiian slider rolls
6 slices provolone cheese
1 medium onion, sliced
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon beef bouillon base
Instructions
Heat 1 tablespoons butter in a skillet over medium-low.
Add onions; cook until caramelized. Set aside to cool.
Slice rolls in half horizontally. Place bottoms in a 9×13 dish.
Divide roast beef evenly on rolls (fold to fit).
Cut each provolone slice into 4 pieces. Place 2 pieces on each slider.
Add cooled caramelized onions over cheese.
Replace roll tops.
Melt remaining butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
Stir in garlic powder, Worcestershire, and beef bouillon until dissolved.
Brush glaze evenly over roll tops (let drip down sides).
Cover tightly with foil (spray underside with cooking spray to prevent sticking).
Refrigerate for ≥4 hours or overnight.
Reheating Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F.
Remove foil. Bake 10–15 minutes until cheese melts and tops are golden.
